The cherry invasion has hit our house. We have several BASKETS from McAllister's parents' cherry orchard and they are tasty. I'm eating CHERRIES for breakfast, snacks and dessert....

Al, Good job on the cherries this year! I have been eating a bag of cherries on my way to work every morning. Did you save any sour cherries?
Driving back from lunch I went to the Farmers Market in Bayberry, ran every Wednesday afternoon. I bought a quart (3.50) of spit cherries, 1/2 dark and 1/2 light. VERY SWEET and yummy. He said they are almost done for the season; that is out of Wilcox NY (on the lake 1/2 between Rochester and Syracuse).
