fun labels.

i found super-cute party theme ideas when looking for bridal *stuff* on this website. it is a wedding style website that framed all the themes around bridal showers which got my mind racing for upcoming friends who might tie the knot in the next few years.

then i got to thinking and several of them could so be a non-bridal shower. they're good fro any ole regular party, get together, birthday, or special occasion! i even used the super cute book club labels for a recent birthday occasion.


sondra turned a FABULOUS age last week and we got her some light reading material. one from me, one from the boy, and one from lucy. i downloaded these labels for the to/from tags and these labels for the 'this book is perfect for you because....' part and VOILA. add fun wrapping paper and we've got ourselves some composition notebook style gifts. perfect for the teacher in ur lives ;-)

baby johnson.

today we're congratulating our friends on their not-so-little bundle of joy that came this past Father's day weekend. clara elizabeth johnson was quite a big bundle of joy topping the scale at almost 10 lbs. we're so glad to hear mom and baby are doing well after their SPEEDY delivery. we can't wait to come visit - congrats to the whole family!

painted pumpkin.

we visited friends in liverpool this past weekend who have a little boy Cameron. as a gift - i painted CAM his name on a pumpkin i picked up at the farmer's market. painting pumpkins isn't as fun as carving them, however it is MUCH cleaner and toddler-friendly. (until they try to throw the little pumpkin ;-)

CAM loved his pumpkin oh-so-much! it had a couple bats and a trick-or-treat message on the back. here he is with it while he was trying on his dinosaur halloween costume already. it's just as cute as the costume we got him last year.

alright, so this is my crazy friend allison. today she jumped out of a plane (no I was not with her to take the pic, i was on the ground happily eating hummus).

she told me I could have all her scrapbooking supplies if she didn't make it to the ground on two feet. (she really is a great friend) but she made it without splattering. it's better this way, i know her crafty-crazed roomate would have put up a fight.

i chuckled at the funny looking hat they made her wear, it must be an aerodynamic model.

I'm slowly getting through ALL the European photos we took on vacation. It's time consuming weeding through them all, tossing the ones Mc took (HAHA) and giving them fun and appropriate photo titles. (btw - I'm kidding about Mc, he took some pretty NICE photos with his new digicam!)

I'm very happy to report that Bourg St Maurice (that's in the heart of the French Alps in FRANCE) is done and up on my Gallery Travel Page. There are not a lot of them, we were only there meeting up with friends for one night. We love visiting these friends, and we only get to see them once in a great while since they live down in Hilton Head, SC. It's just crazy ironic that we happened to be within an hour of each other half-way across the WORLD!! Pic highlights include the scenic hour drive from Geneva, the Eiffel Tower of Beer and the fresh food of the market we hit up for breakfast before we bounced on out of there. Actually... there was no bouncing.... we hit MAJOR traffic given it was Saturday morning in a TOURIST town with ONE street get to and from it...

Last weekend, we celebrated Justine's 20th bday with a luau-style party! It was filled with SUNSHINE, family, friends, water balloons, a pinata, some grass skirts, great food and good times.

winter wedding wonderland

Last weekend, McAllister and I went to Niagara-on-the-Lake to watch our friends Wes and Tonia be WED.

They had a beautiful wedding and reception at The Queen's Landing.

Even though we had a minor memory card mishap (forgot to remember the memory), we still managed to capture some GREAT memories. Check 'em out!

This is Cameron, he is a happy baby!!

He is the son of our good friends Jenn & Doug. We love visiting them whenever we go to Liverpool.

When they came to Rochester for the M.A.D.D Dash, we gave Cam a pumpkin costume for halloween from PB Kids.
